Title "Inde Transition Program" with a watercolor of the mountains, with trees and the sun in the background.

The Inde Transition Program is for young adults, ages 18-22 who have decided to defer their diploma in order to learn very important skills that pertain to career/job, post secondary and independent living. Throughout the week they have opportunities to work at different community jobs such as CVS, Fenton River Veterinary Hospital, and/or Stafford Elementary School. Within Stafford High School, the young adults from the Inde Transition Program are responsible for running and maintaining the Hidden Treasures Gift Shop where they learn to run the cash register, price items and stock shelves. They also learn to shop and socialize within their community and surrounding communities. The goal for all who attend the transition program is for them to learn how to continue to be independent lifelong learners who have helped create as well as advocate for their best adult future.
