Add /Drop Policy

Students will receive their future schedules in the spring and have until the end of the current school year to make changes to core academic classes. There will be an Add /Drop Period the first week of each semester for students who would like to change an elective course based on post-secondary aspirations.   Street signs on a pole pointing in different directions. If a student would like to withdraw from a class during the current school year, this will be reflected on their transcript with a "W" (withdrawn) or a "WF" (withdrawn - failure) depending on the student's current grade in the course. If a student is failing and extenuating circumstances exist and are severe in nature, an appeal to the Principal may be made to allow the transcript to reflect with a "W" for withdrawn.
