Mr. Timothy Kinel is a lifelong educator who has experience as a High School History teacher and has also worked as a curriculum specialist, overseeing grades 6 to 12 in History and the Social Sciences. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in History & Secondary Education from Connecticut University, as well as a Master's Degree in History from Central Connecticut State University and an advanced degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut. He enjoys his current role as Stafford High School Assistant Principal since 2018, and has shown himself to be a professional educator who truly cares about the students of Stafford. Throughout the building, Mr. Kinel is known as an avid sports enthusiast, a "walking thesaurus," and willing conversationalist regarding a wide range of topics with both students and faculty. He enjoys attending after school activities, believes that Stafford students are tremendous young people who are talented, intelligent, and hardworking, and feels fortunate to serve such a tremendous school community.
